Does temperature affect Onyx?
Being an artificial stone made of polyester resin mixed with natural materials, Onyx is affected by temperature to some extent. While it is heat-resistant and can withstand moderate temperatures, the material can become prone to cracking or warping at high temperatures. Ideally, Onyx should be kept in stable, moderate temperatures within the range of 60-80°F to prevent any damage or changes to its appearance. When exposed to extreme temperatures, it can cause discoloration, distortion or other forms of damage.
